Those of you that know me personally have witnessed my yoga story over the last 20 years, regular silent meditation retreats for 5+ years, and the addition of breath work to my daily practice in 2018 when when I came across the Art of Living humanitarian & educational non-governmental organization during Commetta’s process of becoming Bcorp.
Their introductory Happiness Program teaches the Sudarshan Kriya breathing technique. A breathing meditation I credit as a purifying agent helping me to harmonize my feelings, amplify my impact, improve my focus, and ultimately, my happiness. I can see and think clearer, with more confidence and ease, reaping the proven benefits the breath can have on emotional regulation, and management of stress, anxiety and depression.
