Cherished customers and community of changemakers,
Talking about a revolution! Last week, in solidarity with the current #BlackLivesMatter activism the Commetta collective muted scheduled content to use our communication channels exclusively to #AmplifyMelanatedVoices from June 1st to 7th in a movement created by Jessica Wilson and Alishia McCullough.
We turned to our immediate, local community, the relationships, organizations and individuals we stand behind every day, with an offer to amplify and support their work and #ShineOnline. Discover what they are up to below!
Join our workshop to start the conversation in Equity, Diversity & Inclusion (EDI) for and by B Corp on June 12th from 9am to 10am on Zoom. The session, facilitated by Julie Savaria, will focus on key concepts and sharing of experiences, including understanding where we collectively stand on this issue. This is a first activity in a series of activities in which several aspects of EDI will be explored in depth as a group. This activity is intended for all those who are curious to tackle the subject and participate in a collective reflection.

Dorothy Rhau by WeDoSomething
On May 21st, before this explosion of awareness about the racism we live with and uphold, WeDoSomething interviewed Dorothy Rhau, the 1st black francophone female comedian in Canada and Quebec, about inequality.
She’s also the founder of Audace au Feminin – Salon International De La Femme Noire and launched an annual salon for black women to gather and support one another. Catch the interview next week on WeDoSomething’s Blog, Foundation, and Corporate social accounts.
